Hello dedicated readers of TQ...ViG. The entire staff just got done serving a 5-month sentence for abusing Angel "fans" on a Spring Training stint in Arizona. Anyways, we're back and regular posting will commence very soon.
Also, it turns out they don't wear caps and sleeves in the Arizona Penal League either. Weird.
This was just to get rid of earlier posts without deletion. Rookie.

Pierre's New Spring Line
AVG/OBP/SLG
.143/.143/.143
That is even gayer than the headline suggests. And this guy wants to start.

Manny-being-Paid
Finally.
Nothing much more to say.
I'm really glad this is done.
However, w/out this lengthy negotiation O-Dog likely would NOT be a Dodger

Holy Fucking Shit!
He did it again! Mitch Jones homered once more in today's game, this time off Padres starter Chris Young. WHO is now OPS-ing 1.635 for the spring. If this guy doesn't make the opening day roster I am going to burn down Dodger Stadium.
In other news, the Blue Crew won the game 5-4. Billingsley threw two sharp innings while Blake DeWitt homered and doubled after starting the game at shortstop.
Why hasn't my Mitch Jones t-shirt jersey arrived yet?

Dodger's SS Likely Out For the Season
Chill out everyone. It's not Raffy Furcal.
However, bad news has Ivan DeJesus likely out for the season with a broken leg. This kid is only 21 and seen as the SS of the future. Hopefully, he can make it back sometime during this year and avoid missing an entire year of development.
Also, Mitch Jones (who?) went yard again. This guy is a beast.

Streak Comes to Screeching Halt
Apparently I put the jinx on Mitch Jones and his streak of homering in every single game came to an end in a 3-2 loss to Ozzie Guillen's Plastic-Woman-Fucking All-Stars. Jones only managed to go 1-3 with a double. For the spring so far, Jones is now OPS-ing at a pedestrian 1.411 clip. By contrast, abortion survivor Juan Pierre has a nice round .000 OPS through five games. Fivel did somehow manage to get on the base paths once though, where he was promptly caught stealing. Here's to starting up another streak, Mitch Jones (WHO?).
Kemp doubled in three at bats and stole a base while the staff threw eight shutout innings until three scrub pitchers combined to blow the game in the ninth. There was also a Wilson Betemit sighting (he started at SS for the ChiSox). The big man went 0-2 and committed two fielding errors, but remains a TQ...ViG legend.
Tomorrow the B-Squad (whatever that is) plays a five inning game (whatever that is) against the Reds. I can't wait!

Manny Replacement
It took a few spring training games, but I am no longer worried about losing Manny. Sure he is awesome at hitting baseballs, but I think we have someone just as good on the roster for about 1/50th of the price. That's right kids, Mitch Fucking Jones, son! WHO? Big Mitch crushed a GS yesterday (Matt Kemp also hit a two run jack, very nice) in the Dodgers 13-5 beatdown of the Rockies. This basically means that Mitch Jones has homered in every single game I've ever heard about him playing in. Pretty good ratio. He at least better make the team ahead of sickle-cell sufferer Juan Pierre.
Today the Blue Crew opens the new spring facility by playing the White Sox. Can't wait for Ozzie Guillen's meltdown.
