Accordingly to NY Times writer Bill Finley our Dodgers just might make a splash in the free agent market and get that big name we've all been waiting for. That's right...BERNIE WILLIAMS.

He actually writes the following: The Dodgers appear to be set in center field with Juan Pierre, who was signed to a five-year contract before last season. But the team could lose outfielder Luis Gonzalez, who is a free agent, which could open up a spot for Williams.
This is the same NY bullshit that gets spouted ad nauseum. Just because a player used to play for the Yankees does not mean they should supplant any player for any other team. But fuck...why wouldn't a washed up jizz rag like Bernie Williams. He could play instead of Matt Kemp or Andre Ethier. He has played for the Yankees.
These dicklickers act like every other team has some sort of Yankee-centric penis envy. This guy really has no idea who plays OF for the Dodgers. His mom makes him go to bed at 10pm (right after he eats her box out)...so he can't see any west coast games.
I only advocate getting players that are not 'true yankees.' You know...guys like Alex Rodriguez.

Is this douchebag on drugs? Bernie Williams was out of the fucking league last year!!!! He hasn't been a legitimate big leaguer for even longer than that. Does this homo think we brought Mattingly on board to backup Loney? Maybe John Wetteland is available to shore up the bullpen? This guy wipes his ass with wet naps because his tender bottom can't handle the sting of ultra-soft two ply.
How can you get paid to write about a sport that you know so little about? Anyone who thinks having Juan "Fivel" Pierre means we are "set in center field" goes to class with Corky from "Life Goes On." He also thinks we "could lose Luis Gonzalez." Could?!?!?! Luis Gonzalez is a nice guy who had a pretty damn good career but his wife has a better chance at squeezing out another set of quintuplets than Gonzo has of playing for the Dodgers next year.
