Dodgerblue is rolling into Arizona this Spring. Yes, 2008 is a year early but I'm not complaining. After beginning spring training in Vero Beach the Dodgers will be spending a week in AZ from March 20th to March 25th. This stint will be highlighted by a March 22nd (sat.) game against our favorite douche bags from the south...The Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles Angels in the Outfield.
For those that don't know...Spring Training is RAD!!! It creates the perfect storm of vacation, baseball, booze, and desert hotties. I'm definitely rolling out the weekend of March 21st. I expect the entire TQ...ViG crew to be in full force that weekend. Everyone get it together...Mr. Falcon, Purple Stuff, Beasy Bee, Br!an, Other Guy w/out screen name (Jay), and anyone else that reps hard. I'm voting to have some TQ...ViG t-shirts printed for this momentus occassion.
This is clearly the best news since we learned Purple Stuff is moving to Texas.

This is awesome! I'm also all in favor of t-shirts. Do you know the schedule (what teams we play and where all the games are located)? Not only will the party be off the hinges but I see it as a great opportunity to spread the word about TQ...ViQ to other die-hard fans...and an opportunity to slam sweet desert skanks who are impressed by our minor celebrity status (Did you girls know Mr. Falcon is close friends with Vince Vaughn?).
I would also like to note that is the same weekend as the opening rounds of the March Madness tourney (normally I would do Vegas but I am more than willing to trade playing craps for watching the Dodgers establish dominance over the gayngels).
What is the over/under on Delwyn Young jacks in that 5 day span?

Gotta love getting to face two division foes in addition to the gayngels. I definitely plan on challenging Eric Byrnes to a karate fight (he may have been tough when he was like 9 years old but I bet I could kick his candy ass in a heartbeat today).
I would also like to insist that we arrive in time for BP every game so that we can begin getting loud/obnoxious early on (i.e. chanting Matt Kemp's name every time we see him).
Are we crashing at Sklar's house?
I have the time, and time off credits from work, to make this journey and it sounds like a lot of fun. I dream of nothing less than watching our LADs trounce the Anaheim Angels of Anaheim.
J and I are in. I kind of want to constantly wear that shirt around. And I don't just mean that weekend.
