Word is that Dodgers have ramped up interest in Andruw Jones. Apparently, they've made a 2 year offer for $32MM. Hopefully, this isn't seen as an insulting offer taking us out of the running. If this is the starting point for negotiations, I could see AJ signing with us for 3/$50MM. I would rather not go to 4 years.
Hopefully, this would signify the exit of everyone's least favorite French rodent (Pierre). Removing Pierre from the lineup would be huge. Inserting AJ into the lineup would also be huge. Swapping out one for the other would be EPIC.
Maybe then we could send Kemp, Laroche, Billingsley, Loney, and Martin to the Angels for Howie Kendrick. I keep hearing that he is a "special talent."
