Los Angeles Dodgers: This Is Your Future, Part I

So, in the past 48 hours Baseball Prospectus and ESPN have released lists of their top 100 prospects. Although this goes against TQ...ViG blog policy of ever posting anything, I have graciously decided to present the Dodger highlights.

Before I get to any of these, it should be noted that Kemp, Loney, Billingsley and Broxton are all not considered prospects anymore.

Baseball Prospectus
The Dodgers have 4 of the top 100: Clayton Kershaw (#5), Andy LaRoche (#14), Chin-Lung Hu (#32), and Scott Elbert (#66).

ESPN
The Dodgers have 5 of the top 100: Kershaw (#6), LaRoche (#25), Hu (#50), James McDonald (#52), Chris Withrow (#86).

Looking at just the top 100, I would say that the Dodgers have the third best prospect class between the Reds and Rays and have the added bonus of not currently being a horse shit team. Up next I'll give the breakdown (i.e. copy/paste) of the Dodgers' top 11 prospects according to BP.
