Darkness Night

The Dodgers always win on "Darkness Night" and this year was no different. And, as usual, Jeff Kent couldn't look more uncomfortable wearing #42.

Anyone else notice that Russell Martin came up with no batting gloves in his final AB tonight? He's been struggling and getting robbed lately so I guess he was just trying to change it up. Oh yeah, he blasted a HR to right-center field. So what now...no more gloves for the rest of the year???

Our Taiwanese/Mexican/American 5th starter really got the job done tonight. This guys is diabolical. He went the distance allowing only two runs. Also, he pitched with both arms keeping the Pirate hitters on their toes.

Kemp went 2-4 with a sweet triple to right-center field. He also stole another base which didn't even draw a throw. Is there anyone left that questions my assertion that he IS FASTER than Pierre???

And...Pierre did NOT get in the game. Yippy-Kay-Aye!!!
