Ned Colletti is an Asshole

The Dodgers Opening Day Starting Rotation Could Easily Be:

1. Bills
2. Sheets
3. Kuroda
4. Wolf
5. Kershaw
Backup (McDonald)

This rotation would be cheaper than last year's. Wolf will make less than Penny. Sheets will make less than Lowe.

The Opening Day Rotation Will Be:

1. Bills
2. Kuroda
3. Kershaw
4. Estes
5. Vargas

Pathetic. This rotation does NOT make the playoffs.

Also, by my count I think the payroll is still approximately $45-50MM under last year.

I still think we'll sign Wolf but I'm not all that thrilled about it. I like him more than Vargas or Estes to be sure but I don't get why we are being cheap. According to Ken Rosenthal, our only real rival for Wolf is the Mets and they are currently more interested in signing Oliver Perez. I liked Garland more than Wolf (to me Wolf is just an average pitcher at best) but he just signed with the D-Bags for one year with an option for another. With the buyout he's basically guaranteed around $7-8 for one year. Ned seems to have seen the market and now wants to be even cheaper in going after Wolf so nothing will likely get done soon.

I'm on board with the Wolf/Sheets combo. Milwaukee doesn't want to give Sheets guaranteed money past one year and he doesn't want an incentive laden deal like Pettite just got. He can be had (we'd give up a first round pick but the way the baseball draft goes I'd do that).

Unfortunately we know that at best we're getting Wolf. Ned sucks donkey dick.

Wolverhampton is magnificent!
