Despite the excitement over Orlando Hudson's arrival and the awesomeness of young guys Kemp/Loney/Martin/etc., everyone's favorite Dodger here at TQ...ViG is Mitch Jones. After a brief stint in the 0rient (there are going to be some sweet Japanese prospects in about 20 years), Mitch is back with the Blue Crew this spring. He replaced Juan Pierre (who again went 0-3) and came up in the 9th inning just in time to send a Luis Pena offering over them mountains for a two-run jack. Sadly, it was the lone highlight of the day for the Dodgers who fell 18-2 to the Mariners. Kemp went 2-2 and Billingsley's leg didn't fall off (one run on three hits over two innings), but other than that the team pretty much had AIDS. There are some cool ERA stats that came out of the debacle though (Greg Miller and his 81.00 mark better not see the mound again all year).
Also, if you've ever dreamed of throwing peanuts to Mr. Falcon in the pavilion, then check out this event at Dodger Stadium this weekend. Who knows, with the economy going the way it is, you may have to beat out one of us if you want to sling garlic fries at the Ravine.
