We're On TV!!!

The Dodgers are currently battling the Braves on ESPN. I will continue to update those of you who work for a living as the game goes along. Our boys are up 1-0 in the middle of the 2nd. Kuroda-san got the start so it is nice to finally get a glimpse of our latest Oriental import. Turns out he can't hit though.

Also, you know you are watching a spring training game when Ramon Martinez gets the start. Let's hope this is the last time we see that bum penciled into Joe Torre's lineup card.

Kuroda looked good with a hard sinker the first two innings getting a lot of easy groundball outs and facing the minimum 6 hitters. Loaiza just came in to pitch the third and gave up a leadoff bomb to Javy Lopez. Please get healthy Jason Schmidt!!!

I thought taking out Loaiza (he gave up 3 in two innings) would help us but Greg Miller got raked for 4 runs without getting an out. Braves are up 7-2 and still have bases loaded w/ one out in the 5th. I guess Matt Kemp is going to have to hit one of his patented 6 run homers to get us back into this one.

10-3 loss for the good fellas. Braves scored 7 in the 5th off a couple pitchers who will never see the field when the season kicks off for real. Kemp went 1-3 with a stolen base and Laroche had an RBI double. Other than that not too many highlights (except for the aforementioned fact that Kuroda looked solid).
