So, regardless of the fact that we only post here at TQ...ViG at a bi-monthly pace, I feel that we are very close to being able to shut down the blog. That's right kids, Juan Pierre is riding the pine for opening day. I am so pleased by this, I really have no jokes or snappish one-liners. All we need to do now is get him traded and I think we can finally call it a day.

The joy I felt when this decision was first announced has still not subsided. It is almost as if I can't enjoy it fully because my body and mind are incapable of experiencing the pure bliss that comes from not seeing that fucking rodent in the starting lineup. Dewitt has also been pretty solid and has done what you are supposed to in the 8 hole (make the pitcher work and take the walks they are willing to give you) getting a couple hits while also walking 3 times in 2 games.
Championship!!!
Well that didn't last too long. Pierre starts Tuesday night for Kemp...WTF
