Ned has been reeling in the talent like hotcakes lately. Both Eric Milton and Jeff Weaver (who you may remember from his faggy haircut and his douchy but more talented brother pitching down in disneylandville) have agreed to minor league contracts with los Doy-yers. Neither of these guys has pitched in the bigs in over a year but they go into the fifth starter pot that also includes Jason Schmidt, Ramon Trancoso, Claudio Vargas, Shawn Estes, and Eric Stults. You would think that in his search to uncover all of these guys, Ned would have come across one MLB starter who doesn't have AIDS. Apparently not.
Oh, and Andruw Jones signed with the Rangers. The highlight of this deal is that if he reaches his incentives (by posting over 600 PA's), the Dodgers re-coop about half a million bucks of the $21 million they still owe him. That would make a nice little investment property for Frank McCourt (or like 17 worthless fucking pitchers who can get spring training invites, if our deadbeat owner actually puts the money back into the team).
